Mario`s Mexican Restaurant in Hutto

Breakfast tacos were good, made with homemade tortillas. Salsa was good as well. Lacking in the coffee department, no bueno! They could also put more product inside the tortilla. Over all the Mario has potential.

I love the Beef Enchilada plate. Their salsa & chips are good too! Wait staff are friendly & Mario makes you feel right at home. Breakfast is our favorite meal to have there.

Best Mexican food in Williamson County. Always feel welcomed and always very clean. Prices are good.

Bacon was tasty and extra crispy. Delicious refried beans and salsa. Chorizo could be better...Also, a bit pricey. I bought 15 tacos ( 5 bean and cheese, 5 chorizo and egg, and 5 bacon egg)...total was $47.00..I will definitely return. Staff and owner were fast and friendly.

Breakfast all day! Smiling faces suggest people love to work there! Coffee empty, no sir, they're on top of it.Good food, reasonable prices. Go see them.

Ate lunch at Mario's today because the restaurant next door was full and we didn't want to wait. I should've known when we walked in and there were 0 customers and the entire staff was sitting in the dining room taking a break. I ordered the lunch special taco plate with guacamole salad. I got tacos on shells that were so stale I would've (should've?) thrown them away. The guacamole salad was some shredded lettuce with a couple of tomato chunks and 3 slices of avocado. That's not a guacamole salad. This place will never make it, especially near Austin where there is so much fantastic Mexican food. Really disappointed.

We went in for dinner. No burritos on the menu and they don't offer sour cream. We were the only ones there at dinner time when all of the other restaurants near by were busy.We took it as a sign and went somewhere else.

Fabulous Mexican food served by great people. The food and service is above anything in region. More reason for Hutto.

Great breakfast. Good service. The restaurant could use some maintenance. New ceiling tiles and a thorough cleaning of the bathrooms would go a long way.

If you see a parking spot available or an empty table, grab it immediately. Great breakfast and lunch. They should expand but I'd hate to see the family owned aspect of the whole place go.

We had lunch at Mario's today and it was the first time we'd ever been there. The food was awesome and the people were warm and friendly. We had the Asado de Puerco. Kind of a pork stew in this delicious bright-red sauce that wasn't too spicy but just perfect - with homemade flour tortillas. The salsa was great as well as the jalapaneo hot sauce. They made us the grilled pico de gallo which was just about crazy. A really special little place. We'll for sure be coming back.

Mario's is one of my family's favorite places to go eat. I've ordered many things on the menu and all things have been delicious. My favorite is just the plain cheese enchiladas. Love their rice. Reminds me of my grandma's rice! The menudo is amazing as well. Full portions at a great price. All food comes out hot and fresh. No, the tortillas are not homemade, however they do use good quality cooked ones. Not only is the food amazing, but the customer service is even better. My daughter looks forward to seeing Mario. He is truly the most amazing restaurant owner. All staff are very helpful, check on you constantly, and are always happy to help (even when your 4 year old spills her drink everywhere)! They always have a table available for us, and Mario always stops to talk to us. We love to bring family and friends here and they all agree that the food and service is wonderful (and it's very hard to impress my mother-in-law he he).

Very cozy little joint nestled right off the road in a pretty new looking built up area. They have menus you can look at and just order to-go if you aren't looking to hang around.I was on the prowl looking for a place that has breakfast burritos, this restaurant has breakfast tacos. I would say on par with Rudy's. I'd go back if I was in the area but as far as breakfast options I would not go out of my way to come back for it.

Home cookd Mexican food. Hot from the stove and quite tasty. No alcohol. Family friendly. The chicken enchiladas were delicious! Ambiance reminds me of a small eatery in Mexico proper. Staff is courteous and helpful. Worth a try for a fast, hot delicious meal.

Always good. Made mickey mouse pancakes for the kids. They loved it. Just a good small town place for Mexican food. Staff is friendly. Drinks come in cans.

Food was just ok, not much of a selection. The place is very dirty. Black mold all over ceiling. Will not be going back.
